thingiverse
Here are three-dimensional maps of Snowdon, the highest mountain in Wales, with a height of 1085 meters. The layers are based on Google Maps elevation data, with each layer measuring 0.6 millimeters thick, equivalent to 20 meters in real life. A smooth version of Snowdon is also available, created from data extracted from jthatch.com/Terrain2STL. Both the layered and smooth models were printed using the same settings on a JPG picture, with a layer height of 0.2 millimeters.
