Snowball Shock Mount

<p>For anyone who owns a snowball microphone, this print is for you. This shock mount is designed to allow for more professional recordings with your snowball. A shock mount helps to prevent excess sound from your desk or recording platform from echoing into the microphone by dampening the vibration. I just glued mine together with some super glue which should hold fine (sand down the area before gluing to create a stronger bond). The inner ring will also require some supports in order to print correctly in between the little pegs. </p></div> Custom Section</h3> <p><strong>Assembly</strong></p> <div><p>After printing all the parts (the inner ring and the outer ring 4 times) you need to start by gluing together the 4 outer ring parts together with something like super glue to make a ring. After the glue has dried completely, grab some rubber bands (preferably bigger rubber bands) and I found the best way to do it was break the rubber bands to create a long string. Then weave the rubber string through the inner and outer ring in order to hold all the parts together. Lastly you will need to buy a screw that fits into the bottom of the snowball and find a way to attach it to the inside of the inner ring so the snowball fits nicely inside.</p></div></p></p> Category: Accessories
