This particular snow stop was designed using OpenSCAD, featuring grooves in the bottom to enhance adhesion with silicone when attached to the roof. The part is meant to be secured onto the roof via two holes. The total cost of 3D printing this part came out to $1.20, which would translate to a significant savings of between $80 and $380 on a job that requires 100 pieces for an average house and garage.
