snow scraper adapter for mop pole

I made an adapter to create a mini snow scraper with DIY. I built this adapter to keep the snow off my roof's overhang, which gets heavy after big snowfalls, from falling down under its own weight. There is a small window near the overhang that I used to clear out the snow before making this adapter, but unfortunately it was too far away for me to reach with a shovel and I could only clear half of the snow off the edge.
