I leave for work before daylight creeps over the horizon early every morning. When it snows overnight, navigating my driveway to clear off my car can be a challenge without outdoor lighting. One particularly gloomy morning, I resorted to using my phone as a makeshift flashlight while trying to brush away the snow, prompting me to seek a more reliable solution. First, I scoured Amazon for a snow brush with built-in LED lights, which they had available; however, the prices were out of my budget. Next, I explored this online community to see if anyone had created a clip that could attach a flashlight to a snow brush. I stumbled upon a design: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:67840. I then conducted a search for a snow brush clip and found an existing design: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1162377. I merged the two clips together on TinkerCAD, and the resulting fusion is now complete! I promptly commandeered my husband's flashlight and rushed outside to put it through its paces. He won't be getting it back anytime soon – a fact he'll undoubtedly appreciate! I'm eager for the next snowfall so I can put this contraption to the test. The flashlight clip is positioned at the center of the snow brush clip, necessitating the use of supports during printing.
