Snorkel Mouthpiece

Snorkel Mouthpiece

thingiverse

This is a mouthpiece for a gringo snorkel, commonly used in underwater rugby or recreational snorkeling. I broke my mouthpiece in practice and needed a new one until my replacement arrives, which is still being worked on to achieve the best fit possible. I'll update as I go. Recommend printing in a flexible filament. I used Ultimaker TPU 95A white but so far have found it to be too harsh on the gums. I will update with the best filament to use to get the best comfort to functionality ratio. I am currently testing MakeShape Semi-flex in yellow and will release results tomorrow. 04/13/18 Update I printed the latest version in MakeShape semi-flex yellow on a WASP 2040 Turbo and it came out well. It survived a water test in the sink, but I'll test it out in the pool tomorrow to determine if the semi-flex is better than the TPU for this application.
