This connector enables you to link a Mountdog or Decathlon snorkel mask to standard air filters used in ventilator circuits in hospitals. This adapter was inspired by the ones designed by Isinnova. Instead of utilizing positive air pressure, this design simply connects a filter to the mask. This allows surgeons and hospital staff to protect against infection while performing surgery on high-risk individuals. There are several filters available; please ensure you use the correct filter for your application. It is designed to allow the wearer to breathe in and out through this airway. The specific snorkel mask, however, has a one-way valve that allows air to escape. You may need to block this valve if debris gets trapped in the valve's membrane, which would render it ineffective and allow air to enter.
