Snoopy on Doghouse Bank

Snoopy on Doghouse Bank

I am watching a TV commercial by State Farm that features two women talking about a suede couch one of them says she "just had to have". Later, two robbers break in and steal it with one explaining he "just had to have" it too. I felt the same way when I first saw this 3D model. Immediately, I thought I need to print this! My second thought was that since it is 190mm high, this would make a fantastic piggy bank. The rest is history now. I created a plug for the bottom of the bank so I wouldn't have to ruin this beautiful work of art to get my money out (and thus making it reusable). The slot in the plug is designed for a penny (so you can twist it and it stays in place). I also added a piece of felt to the bottom to prevent scratching or damaging any surface it was sitting on. I redesigned the roof, removing the front and back of the doghouse and attaching them to the base. I wanted a two-color doghouse (white/red), so splitting these pieces was necessary. I only posted the parts that I changed: the base, roof, door, and plug. EDIT: I had a request to upload the doghouse without a door. I blocked off the door as requested.
