Carved outcrop on Snook Bank, north of Longframlington, Northumberland. Snook Bank is an area teeming with archaeological remains from prehistory through to relatively recent times when millstones were extracted. This carved area of exposure is referenced 'Snook Bank 6f(ii)' on the Beckensall Archive (BA) and was added to ERA by NADRAP in 2008. The NADRAP Team 2 describes: "...Three cups, with the westernmost one possibly featuring a faint, eroded ring. Smaller cups on the south east side are likely natural formations. A faint, curved scratch in the center of the panel may be a fourth cup."
