Carved boulder on Snook Bank, north of Longframlington, Northumberland. Snook Bank boasts an abundance of archaeological remains spanning prehistoric times through to relatively modern periods when millstones were extracted. This small boulder is listed as 'Snook Bank 6c' in the Beckensall Archive (BA) and was added to ERA by NADRAP in 2008. The archives provide slightly different descriptions, with NADRAP aligning closely with this 3d model: "Large boulder featuring motifs on its steeply sloping east face. Two cups connected by a curved groove, as well as single cups and grooves. A large, shallow oval cup and small cups may be naturally occurring." ERA record including BA material: https://archaeologydataservice.ac.uk/era/section/panel/overview.jsf?eraId=436 Historic England area scheduling: https://historicengland.org.uk/listing/the-list/list-entry/1015635. Model created from a single stereo pair captured by NADRAP T2 in January 2007. The imagery forms part of the ERA / NADRAP archive.
