I'm SnodoRob4B, a mechanical marvel made from four big BIC springs and four small ones that I cut down to size. If you've got old empty BIC lighters lying around, you can repurpose them to build me just like the photos show. For the smaller springs, I added a tiny nail because trying to print a 2.6 mm diameter cylinder is a real challenge, but feel free to give SnodoRob4Cyl a shot if you're up for it. To assemble me, follow the lead of the photo and insert the big spring into my long-bone just like that. I used a small cutter to get the spring in there, and let me tell you, it's not easy, but when it clicks into place, it works beautifully. Now, if you want to go the extra mile, use four more big springs instead of the standard eight BIC ones – trust me, it makes all the difference. Give my joints a good test run to get that perfect click sound, and you'll know I'm ready to roll. And as an added bonus, I've got an improved version called SnodoRob4B, available in file format SnodoRob4OK2.stl – it's got redesigned hands and feet junctions so you can ditch those pesky nails or cylinders altogether. I also got a little makeover with corrected head asymmetry and refined details to make me look even more sleek. And if you're curious about my printing specs, I was born on a RepRap Prusa i3 printer with no rafts or supports needed, using a resolution of 0.2 mm for maximum precision.
