Make Your Own Voice Assistant Fed up with Google Home or Alexa? Create your own "Voice Assistant" that runs in your home without relying on outside servers to understand you, thanks to [SNIPS](https://snips.ai/). This is exactly what happens when using a Snips Satellite, which can listen to you in other rooms while the main unit remains in the living room. There are two versions of the case available. One for use with a standard Raspi Power supply and cable connection to the Pi. The other one uses a USB Power Dongle and directly soldered connections to the bottom of the Pi. ### Essential Materials Apart from the Frame 1. [Raspberry Pi Zero W](https://amzn.to/2SFgm1k) 2. [Respeaker 2](https://amzn.to/2QonsFu) 3. [32MB Memory Card](https://amzn.to/2ULFfcX) ### Setting Up Your System Once you have your materials and the case printed out, head over to the [SNIPS documentation](https://docs.snips.ai/guides/raspberry-pi-guides/on-a-raspberry-pi) to start setting up your own Voice Assistant. --- __*Disclaimer:*__ *I use Amazon Affiliate Links for the hardware products mentioned above.
