The project I'd been putting off for ages finally saw the light of day, but unfortunately, it didn't quite live up to my initial vision. I dove headfirst into it without taking the time to develop a solid concept design, and as a result, it didn't turn out as robust as I had hoped. I crafted the model using Blender and textured it in Substance Painter. The idea behind this unconventional piece was simple: in a world where high-quality ammunition is scarce or prohibitively expensive on the black market, but still essential for delivering a potent shot, a resourceful smith might resort to creating a cannon based on the flintlock principle. This innovative design features two massive powder tanks and a substantial breach for loading projectiles. The smith carefully calibrated the dimensions of the weapon to accommodate an excessive charge, while also extending the barrel length to ensure that even the slowest-burning powders would be effective. The result is a cumbersome but remarkably versatile piece that can function in any situation, whether you're using makeshift cartridges or subpar powder. This unusual contraption drew inspiration from the M20 75mm recoilless rifle, and its unique design makes it an intriguing anomaly in the world of firearms.
