SNES mini console Pi 3 WIP
thingiverse
This is my rendition of an SNES console, carefully crafted to house a Raspberry pi 3 with mounting holes that fit perfectly. It molds seamlessly around my pi clone, ensuring a snug and secure fit. I deliberately avoided large openings on this design except for the back IO area where all your cables can be neatly run through. To accommodate the HDMI cable, you may need to trim some insulation at one end to get it to fit inside this case; fortunately, there are several right angle HDMI cables available online that should do the trick. The underside of this console is flat, and I initially considered adding stick on feet for stability. However, the top has undergone significant revisions for improved clearance and small adjustments to the power and reset buttons have been made. The front controller ports are now separate, and I'm contemplating making an option for USB ports in a future iteration. When printing this piece, make sure it's facing upwards to ensure a flawless build. As plans for the future unfold, I envision adding a functional on/off switch location and a back plate as part of the top half, which will give the console a sleeker appearance where cables emerge from.
