SNES adapter for Joy Con
myminifactory
After examining the joycon controllers for a while, they appear surprisingly small. This led me to reflect on my favorite Nintendo controller from days of yore - the Super Nintendo controller. Undoubtedly, it was the king of its era. This design is tailored specifically for the left joy con controller, with the understanding that mirroring both parts will also accommodate the right joycon. However, please note that this modification does not permit the use of bumpers, so it's best to avoid using games that rely on that button. To assemble your retro-fitted controller, simply place the joycon within the SNES body and then slide the top portion in place. Your enlarged controller is now ready for use, offering a more comfortable grip for those with larger hands. As this design continues to evolve, I'll be making adjustments over time. One last detail: I've designed this project using inches, so most printers will need to scale it up by 25.4 times to align with metric settings. Feel free to experiment with different infill and layer settings - after all, the fun lies in customization!
