Some of you may be familiar with my Snapstruder MKII. This new design is a significant departure from its predecessor, boasting a more compact build that doesn't interfere with the printer's travel path. At its core, the Snapstruder MKII snaps together easily and mounts directly to a standard Prusa carriage, making it incredibly straightforward to set up. You'll likely need to smooth out some parts to achieve a seamless fit, depending on your printer's unique characteristics and various other factors at play. This may involve shaving down certain components to ensure they mesh perfectly together. EDIT: 03/03/2018 In response to overwhelming demand, I've added an optional clip-on mount for a 50mm blower fan to keep prints cool. Please note that this is merely a temporary solution, as I'm no longer actively supporting this design. If you'd like me to make further improvements, you'll need to provide the necessary incentive. To install the cooling system, print the Cooler Mount, shroud, and two pins. The pins should be inserted through the blower fan's pre-existing holes into the cooler mount, then secured with glue. You may need to trim down the joints in the fan molding to achieve a snug fit. Print Settings Printer Brand: Prusa Rafts: Doesn't Matter Supports: Yes Resolution: 0.2mm/200micrometers Infill: 40% Post-Printing Scraping and Cleaning You'll need to scrape and clean the parts until they fit together smoothly, just as demonstrated in the accompanying video. Rinse and repeat the process as necessary. Video
