Snapple Cap Snowflake Ornament

I get laughed at by my kids because I've been collecting Snapple caps for years - thousands of them! I'm a big fan of the "Real Facts" sayings on the caps, and I thought it would be cool to make a sculpture out of them. The old caps came in multiple colors, but the new ones are all silver. The challenge was figuring out how to keep the "Real Facts" sayings visible while making something with the caps. When snow started falling and the holidays approached, I had an idea for this project. I designed it so that the caps screw on like they would to a real Snapple bottle, allowing you to easily change the sayings. Now that I have the cap adapter concept down, I can make all sorts of things with Snapple caps! Print Settings Printer: LulzBot TAZ 5 Rafts: No Supports: No Post-Printing The snowflake part of the print is only 1mm thick to speed up the printing process. Be careful when removing the print, as it's easy to break off the delicate "petals". Pushing the removal blade towards the center of the snowflake worked best for me.
