Snapple Aqua Globe V2 - Self Water Plant
thingiverse
After fine-tuning the design and making a few crucial adjustments due to a minor leak in the seal, I successfully managed to create a tighter seal than before (although not entirely perfect). There's still a slight seepage when the bottle is tilted, but reassuringly, no water appears to be escaping or leaking when it's standing upright and vertical as intended. I'm fairly confident that the leak is being caused by the support material used, making it challenging to achieve a completely flush and flat seal with the top lip of the bottle. You might have better print settings than me that could help compensate for this issue. I've added an outer ring bezel to prevent the walls from bending when tightening on the bottle. I've also adjusted the size of the thread notches to fit the Snapple bottle design more snugly. Additionally, I've made the cone slightly thinner since the extra material wasn't necessary for structural support. Furthermore, I've reduced the opening at the top of the cone from 4mm in diameter to 2.5mm in diameter to restrict water flow slightly and achieve a longer-lasting and less frequent refill. Overall, the length has increased from 136mm to 144.3mm to improve root penetration. Enjoy!
