Snapmaker Z Stop Clip

Snapmaker Z Stop Clip

Just a simple clip that will catch on the Z axis screw holes if the head starts dropping after a print or just doesn't want to stay up. I got tired of this happening so I came up with a solution - the nozzle would melt a few prints and mess them up, and sometimes it would even damage others by the weight of the head falling off after the print was done. It can be mounted on top or underneath the X axis (or both) only on the left side. The head will hit it on the right side. I keep it clipped back when starting a print then release it once it starts. Depending on your plastic, if you keep it clipped back, it may stay that way even after you want to release it. I tried to make this small and not very strong so it'll break before breaking anything on your machine. It's designed only to stop the head from falling freely. I'm still playing around with this design a little so it could change. I've only done one print with it so far, so I'm sure I'll find something that needs tweaking or maybe I'll realize it's not working and do something completely different.
