Snapmaker Original Filament Grommet
thingiverse
This is a tiny plastic grommet made for the hole where the filament goes in the Snapmaker Original enclosure, version 1 and 1.1. They originally come with a chintzy tube, that requires you tape it, and it gets messy. If you don't, it creeps up to the printer head, and can cause problems LOL. Thus, this tiny grommet was born. Because of its small size, it is in 3 parts, one tube and two dome heads. Please use some plastic glue to put one of the domes onto the tube, so it stays on. This dome would be the one on the OUTSIDE, as it will stay on there as the filament comes in. I used Plastruct Plastic cement glue for this, on some Amazon Silk PLA. Seems to work just fine with that sort of plastic. Used the "normal print" settings, but do take care that you use the settings you know best for your printer. Enjoy!!!
