Snapmaker Laser CNC Align and Fix jig (v.2)
thingiverse
In order to craft custom fixtures for laser engraving and cutting after some trials, I required a precision aligning and holding device. All existing designs offered partial assistance, prompting me to combine their strengths and incorporate the best features from each. Future revisions will include the option to attach genuine microrax rails, ensuring longer-lasting performance. I extend my gratitude to TheBum (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2956894), Microrax (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1130) and MGX (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2452870) for sharing their designs with the community. The provided images showcase version 1, featuring longer corners, shorter rails, and larger clamps; however, the downloadable files are from version 2, which boasts smaller corners, extended rails, and reduced clamps. I appreciate your interest in this project! All the best! UPDATE - 2018-09-26 Kogomonier's (https://www.thingiverse.com/kogomonier/about) feedback has led me to update the tiny joint component, allowing for proper rail attachment to the bed. My apologies for any inconvenience caused... UPDATE - 2018-12-15 In response to MrFen's (https://www.thingiverse.com/MrFen/about) inquiry, I have uploaded separate files for each component, enabling users to modify and customize them as needed.
