Snapmaker J1 Cablechain end Clip
thingiverse
End cap for the loose end of the cable chains of J1. It creates a guide for the PTFE tubes (bowden tubes) while fixating the last loose segment of the cable chain. It snaps right on the shape of the cable chain and the PTFE tube, nothing else is needed for mounting. I designed it in a way that you can install it without removing filament or PTFE tube (just slide on and snap on). You do not need any support and no rafts, Infill should be 100%. There are two versions. The first version (J1_CABLECHAIN_CLIP_standard_V4.stl) is for J1 as it comes. The other version is for a modification with cooled and thermally isolated PTFE tubes, which I am currently developing (will be shared in the next weeks). Both versions are also provided as Luban file with temperature settings for Overture easy Nylon. While it can be printed in PLA, my suggestion is to use something tougher, like ABS, ASA or PETG, from mechanical and thermal point of view. If you are printing it on Snapmaker J1, you can also easily print it in Nylon. I printed mine in black Nylon (Overture easy Nylon, black) on Snapmaker J1 (50°C bed, 245° Filament, 0.2mm height) in about 6 min. For Nylon I used the PEI side of the bed without any adhesion helper (no glue, no magigoo or whatever) as Nylon works and adheres great on J1.
