SnapMaker Filament and Screen Holder
thingiverse
I despise the awkward placement of the filament spool holder on my SnapMaker 3D Printer. Constantly, the filament has to be unwound at an irregular angle, and I've already had the spool come undone twice. This issue stems from its attachment point - the top of the Z linear module. To rectify this, a 20x20mm (or 3/4 inch) piece of square tubing is inserted into the center hole. Next, two holes are drilled and tapped on the side of the square tubing to accommodate the spool holder provided by SnapMaker. On the backside, there are two designated spots for M3 nuts and screws that can be used like set screws to securely hold the square tubing in place. Meanwhile, the front features a mounting point for the screen, allowing it to be elevated and moved out of the way. As always, I've included the source STEP file, enabling anyone to modify it as needed.
