Snapmaker Enclosure Thread Guide
thingiverse
I was experiencing some issues with the Snapmaker enclosure causing a lot of PLA to pull off the spindle. The filament looked sloppy due to the twists it was creating, which led to problems. Now, you can see that the PLA feed stays taut and neat. This object was designed with Tinkercad and printed on the Snapmaker. https://www.tinkercad.com/things/iIsVmdd72fX *Update*: My initial issue (which caused this object) may have been that the plastic tube/chute wasn't resting close to the roll as it should be, allowing more filament to unfurl than necessary. Additionally, I'm told that using an undersling helps get the filament off easier, but I'm Team OverSling all the way. I thought I was doing something wrong because it seemed strange that a basic function of a 3D printer (unrolling filament) wasn't working right. However, not fixing this issue wouldn't have led to my first object. So, even though this object may be unnecessary, I'm glad I got to learn some things about designing and printing, even at a beginner level.
