Taking inspiration from Zoemaestra's nozzle cleaner designed for Snapmaker's fancy new dual extruder hotends, this nozzle cleaner is for Snapmaker 2.0 printers that are still rocking the OG single extruder using a wire brush attachment you don't need to customise. This version moves the mounting position to be mounted on the left side to minimise the amount of travel needed to brush that filthy nozzle clean before printing.Designed around the wolfcraft Brass Wire Cup Brush (Amazon UK link: https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B0009VX250?th=1), however, this holder should be universally compatible with any 40mm diameter wire brush tools that use a hexagon 1/4" shank. Strongly recommend to use a pure brass wire brush and not brass coated steel to avoid damage to nozzle.Brush is angled at 30 degrees to avoid interfering with the blower and sensor unit on the single extruder unit when cleaning. Bristles should only clean the nozzle, but configure using the example G-Code below to suit the parameters of your brush. You can use one of the M4x8 screws that comes in your Snapmaker toolkit to mount the tool to the underside of the print bed. If the brush gets dirty on one side, simply rotate to a clean part. This should minimise the need to replace brushes.Designed to be easy to print. Print without support using Fast settings on Cura and it'll be printed in roughly 43 minutes.
