Snapmaker 2.0 PSU Fan Bracket

Hi all, as the Snapmaker 2.0 PSU is known to be quite noisy I was looking for ways to quiet it down a bit. Since most of the existing mods require either modification of the original back plate or need a whole new printed backplate I was thinking of designing an adapter for a Noctua NF-A4x10 FLX I had laying around (any 2- or 3-Pin 40mm x 10mm fan will work). The PSU delivers 24V, so a step-down module is needed. In order to tidy things up a bit I integrated a holder for the step-down, a MP1584EN in this case. The module can be secured with insulation tape or just a drop of super glue. After printing the adapter i soldered the fan directly to the step-down and added cables with a JST-XH-2Y connector. You could also cut off the cables of the standard fan and solder them to the step-down. To mount the bracket on the back plate I used M3 screws for mounting HDDs but any screw up to 3mm might work. To mount the fan to the adaptor any M3 screw with 12mm+ length suits. For longer screws adaptors might be needed. Also you might pre-screw the screws to the holes since they are pretty tight (on purpose). Hope you enjoy your much quieter PSU!
