The new Snapmaker 2.0's back cover for its power supply unit is an impressive fit. Unfortunately, it requires modifications to the brand-new machine, but this upgrade is a significant improvement. The original fan's deafening noise necessitated taking action against it. Snapmaker's design team intentionally made it difficult to swap out the fan with a proper replacement. The connector PCB inside the PSU leaves only 19 mm clearance from the back plate, forcing an extension of the PSU's length. My custom back plate accommodates a 40 x 40 x 20 mm fan and uses ISO 14580 / DIN7984 M4 screws for secure mounting.
