Snapmaker 2.0 Enclosure Door Pull
thingiverse
After assembling the Snapmaker Enclosure, I realized that the tri-fold doors needed a better way to pull open the doors when they are shut. Came up with this simple door pull that fits the bill and doesn't get in the way of the doors when they fold. I had intended to make two versions of this pull. One with a flat surface to go against the acrylic panel and one with a "lip" that would prevent the pull from rotating. But that would require modification of the acrylic panel. After I made the "no-lip" version and put it on, I kinda gave up on the lipped version. This stl file could easily be modified to add a small lip if desired. You will need a slightly longer 4mm screw than the one that currently holds the acrylic door to the frame - which I think is a 5 mm. I replaced it with an 8 mm screw and that worked perfectly. Print the pull on its side to avoid any overhang issues while printing.
