Snapmaker 2.0 Bowden Guide Holder with 3-Marker Holder V1.5 (Beefy)
thingiverse
***THIS IS VERSION 1.5*** Major changes have been made to the original design. I modified some designs that I found (for some reason the form failed when trying to find the original designs with "remix" option), for the Snapmaker 2.0 and a design from Thingiverse and MyMiniFactory "Make Anything" Sharpie Color Blender. I wanted to integrate the Marker Color Blender into a custom screw on part to the Snapmaker 2.0 also to implement a Bowden Tube design tube holder to the top of it as the filament spool holder on the Snapmaker 2.0 is not in a very good location and it can get a little bound up from not feeding straight when the print head is all the way over towards the right side of the machine. The Fitting on the top of this part is meant for a PC4-M6 pneumatic fitting (typical Bowden Style tube fitting) which can be found as linked here as the BLUE topped fitting. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07PV8754Z/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o01_s01?ie=UTF8&psc=1 I also rotated the 3-Color Blender design to minimize the rearward protrusion of the top of the rear markers so that they do not overhang more than necessary for more rear clearance for larger or alternate filament spool mounting. I used TinkerCAD to split the top and base for the Filament Guide head and spliced them into the Marker Blender design to make a single screw on part that does both functions in one piece. As a fix to the original part design, I made the base MUCH bigger to allow for much more material to better support any torsion stresses when the printhead moves to the far right as some had complained that the original maker's part was breaking. This design should have at least an order of magnitude more lateral load support than the original maker's part. Also I used the same base as my "non-color blender" Bowden adapter design where I account for using the supplied screws that come with the Snapmaker 2.0 3D Printhead and designed inner countersunk holes to maximize mating surface and holding force. I also put through-holes to allow the Allen wrench to pass through the part to allow for easy use of the included screws for the feeder flange on the top of the Snapmaker 2.0 3D Print Head. This is a complex part and much thought and time went into designing this. With this design, I do recommend printing with a part base thickness of at least 3.1mm as the internal "plate" is 3.0mm thick which contains the mounting screw holes with countersink. This will make sure that the bottom of the part has a firm base for the screws to seat. I hope that this helps someone wanting the same thing.
