Snapmaker 2.0 5015 Blower mount with duct
thingiverse
The Snapmaker 2.0 3D print toolhead comes with a poor performance part cooling. This is upgraded version of 5015 kit by brent113, but with stronger mount (use bolts and nuts from stock cooling system), better printability (splitted duct and mount for different parts) and a stylish cap. Holes are threaded for M3 bolts. Since the fan driver does not have a flyback diode, it is recommended to limit inductive kick voltage via a 1N4148 diode. Connect diode ground (side with stripe) with fan power wire, and other side with fan ground wire. Installation: 1. Dismount mainboard and heater block 2. Dismount stock fan mount. 3. Install stock nuts inside the mount. If you cannot install nuts, try to heat part a bit. 4. Push mount into the case and pull up nut side. 5. Arrange hook of the mount and pull down nut side, mount will be locked into position. 6. Screw mount with the stock bolts. 7. Attach flyback diode and connector to the 5015 blower fan. 8. Connect fan and mount mainboard back. 9. Use M3 bolts for mount fan.
