I was inspired to create this remix based on the 5mm center post foundation. I utilize 1.8mm walls and 0.25mm clearances, which have proven to work exceptionally well with my printer. The print file consists of four distinct pieces. With approximately twenty links, a decent bracelet can be achieved. All overhangs are carefully designed at 45 degrees or less, eliminating the need for supports during printing. A spacing of 10.2mm is implemented, allowing for easy linking or modification of designs during the print process. Alternatively, each link can be printed individually by deleting excess links in Meshmixer. If you require a custom clearance setting, please do not hesitate to let me know. As a token of appreciation, I'd like to thank Luke for sparking this idea. As a designer, it's worth noting that the link is intentionally restricted from performing a full 90-degree rotation. This design feature enables the "tracks" to roll smoothly, and with some minor adjustments, this design can be easily repurposed for vehicle track systems.
