# SnapCuffs ## self-locking wrist & ankle cuffs with print-in-place hinge and compliant-mechanism lock ### easy to put on - printed in less than 3 hours ## UPDATE 19.02.23: #### Added sizes for ankle cuffs! After multiple iterations, I want to release my SnapCuffs, which can be put on very quickly and stay quite secure on the wrist. Those cuffs are designed in Fusion360 with a lot of customizable parameters. I'd love to upload that file as well, but unfortunately it is not supported by the Thingiverse Customizer. I added a screenshot of the customization options available. If for whatever reason you need a model with an adjusted parameter, just ping me and I'll likely generate a model for you. I added the wrist cuffs in a variety of sizes, as they need to be printed precisely for your wrist circumference. ### Which size to use Measure your wrist circumference as described e.g. [here](https://theslenderwrist.com/measure-your-wrist/) in mm and take the larger size. If you need a custom size, just message me and I'll likely generate it for you. ### How to print - Use PETG if possible - No support necessary, it is included in the generated *.3mf files - I print with 40-50mm/s, but that depends on your printer - light colors look much better on the wrist IMO :) - print the key and test it before applying the cuffs! ### Additional Things The key can be found [here](https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:5791762) I added the following D-Ring as seen in the picture: [ebay page](https://www.ebay.de/itm/404059247517?hash=item5e13ced39d:g:j54AAOSwiFZjnelN) It needs a 20mm width to fit onto the cuff. The other dimensions of that one are 15mm height and 3mm thickness. ### Have fun! :)
