thingiverse
Examine your hands; they're intricate instruments that grant humans a unique ability - the power to transform thoughts into tangible creations. The potential of our hands is boundless, enabling us to engage in activities like tossing a ball, climbing a tree, or constructing tools. Sadly, not everyone possesses this gift. Robohand, an open-source device, was innovated by Richard Van As and Ivan Owen to rekindle the superpowers of those deprived of fingers on their hand. The Snap-Together edition of Robohand is a simplified version of its predecessor, albeit lacking the robust sturdiness of the original design. However, it offers faster and more convenient assembly, primarily serving as an experimental platform to demystify Robohand mechanics. It also aims to spark further advancements and inspire others to carry forward this project. The comprehensive assembly guide is available in the Instructions PDF, while source files are accessible in SketchUp format under Robohand_Snap_Fittings.skp.
With this file you will be able to print Snap-Together Robohand with your 3D printer. Click on the button and save the file on your computer to work, edit or customize your design. You can also find more 3D designs for printers on Snap-Together Robohand.
