Snap together Mini+ light
prusaprinters

I have to give credit to the original designer jagr200. After seeing their design I decided I wanted something that could be printed entirely on a Prusa mini without the need to get metal rails or do any soldering.

This lead me to create a way to snap four corners of the light rail together with three separate rails. I did need to sand down the inserts just a bit to make it all fit together plus some gel based gorilla glue but I'm satisfied with the result.

I also used a cheap LED string light that fit into 9mm channels on a 200mm long rail created by DFV Tech. Im also including the 236mm long rails they created but altered to snap together to allow the rail to be printed using a mini. I havent printed the 236mm long rail myself but I wanted the option if I didnt like the size of the shorter light rig.

The right bracket includes two cut outs to allow for more light which was inspired by levelmyb3d.

PETG was used for this make and so far its held out pretty well.
