Using Netfabb Cloud and Basic, I managed to successfully slice the .stl files in Pronterface with Slic3r. Additionally, I added HitLights 12V DC white LED strip lighting for enhanced illumination. Please follow the instructions provided by Makerbot for the original setup. The slicing process should be smoother now.
