Snap-on Landing Gear
thingiverse
I saw something similar on Flite Test and decided to create something of my own. I tried side clips but they kept breaking, then I tried an end clip and it broke also. That is when I thought of the end bump and cavity option. The holes are designed for 0.076" music wire for the landing gear. I designed this in Fusion 360. I found that printing the Base on it's side (vertically) rather than flat, resulted in a much smoother surface. The Frame I printed flat with tree supports touching the build plate. Feel free to make improvements. Please let me know what improvements you make on this design. I always like to learn new things. Thank you.
