Snap-on Dial Indicator Holder - with Lug
thingiverse
This is an adaptation of whpthomas' Snap-on Dial Indicator Holder design. I created mine to accommodate my dial indicator featuring a lug at its back. To assemble, print the part (using settings like 2 shells, 0.250 layer height, and 25% infil). Next, find a 1/2" bolt and nut. Use the nut to thread the hole for the lug on the part by repeatedly screwing it in and out. It's snug. Remove the bolt, insert the dial indicator into the part, then reattach the bolt ensuring it goes through its lug. Lastly, secure with the nut. Now, simply snap onto your extruder.
