snap on device for DS4 + Titan Two
thingiverse
As a happy user of the Titan Two device by ConsoleTuner, I've always wanted more buttons on my DS4 controller to trigger special actions in scripts like combos/adjustments, unleashing the full power of the Titan Two. Finally, here's a fully working version of my snap-on device for the PS4's DS4 controller. This device features a Teensy 3.2 board with a 0.96" OLED display and 15 additional buttons - three around each analog stick and four on the backside triggered by flexing/stretching the middle finger. I only use my index fingers for the front buttons L1/L2, R1/R2. Each button can be configured to output as a joystick button, dpad direction, or keyboard press (A-Z, 0-9, Esc, F1-F12) on the fly without needing a PC or changing the Teensy software. It supports four profiles. My device uses a second USB connection in addition to the one from the DS4 controller to the Titan Two. It's treated as a multi-HID device, allowing me to create scripts that react to keyboard and/or joystick input sent from my device. The backside button layout still accommodates modded controllers with additional buttons. PETG works fine for this project, using 30% infill and 0.2mm layer height settings.
