Snap On 10mm Rail Limit Switch Holder for 3018 2418

Like everyone else who came up with their own solution, none of the ones available were exactly what I was looking for. These are low profile, unobtrusive, and do not require any hardware. They hold miniature microswitches with R shaped levers. If using flat or roller levers, a space will have to be notched out for the lever to fully depress. I recessed the switch for the sake of not reducing the travel of the axis as much. Prints with no supports. I would use 100% infill to prevent the clip part from cracking. Insert switch from the side with the tab that clips onto the rail. The other end has 1mm bumps that the switch bottoms out against. Do not trim these down. Switch should pressure fit firmly, but still be removable if pressed from the tab side. They are labeled left and right, but which one to use depends not only on which side it is going, but which side the bolt that holds the rail support is protruding from. It must rest on the side that is flat.
