You have to disassemble everything when updating the firmware. I created a small snap-in place holder that lets you access the port through a cooling vent on the right front. This way, you can use a standard microSD card in your SD adapter to flash screen firmware without opening up the case. You can buy an adapter - I used a 48cm unit from LANMU and carefully split off the original casing with my fingernail.
