Snap-In Fan Shroud for Prusa i3 MK3S(+)

<p><strong>Description</strong></p><p>This fan shroud is very easy to mount: simply push its intake into the output port of the blower fan. It ‘clicks’ into place and is held securely in the right orientation without any screws or other parts.</p><p>It is also very easy to unmount - simply pull it out of the blower. Great for maintenance work on the hotend.</p><p>Because it is easy, cheap and quick to print (about 27 minutes, no supports) this fanshroud is very easy to replace if the old fanshroud is damaged or deformed. Print several copies at once and quickly replace your shroud when necessary.</p><p>It is designed to improve the original fanshroud of the Prusa i3 MK3s is several aspects:</p><ul><li>better distribution of the cooling air around the nozzle for more uniform cooling</li><li>works well with silicone sock</li><li>bleed holes provide air cushion to better isolate shroud from hot end</li><li>quicker and easier to print</li><li>no additional parts needed for mounting</li><li>far easier and quicker to mount / unmount for easier maintenance on hot end</li></ul><p><strong>Printing</strong></p><p>Prints well without supports in any material. However, PLA will deform quickly due to the heat of the hot end. PETG works much better. Use ASA (or ABS) for best results.</p><p><strong>Mounting</strong></p><p>Remove old fan shroud completely. Insert this fan shroud into blower fan with square part of its intake first, then press the curled ‘hook’ in to click it in place.</p>
