Snap in Fan Cover
thingiverse
I adore my BIBO, and if you're as hands-on as me, chances are your BIBO has been disassembled multiple times to clean up messes and reorganize its components. The wire fan covers were a real nuisance when you had to repeatedly turn the fans on and off, especially if you wanted to leave them running while tackling other repairs. I took matters into my own hands and designed these new fan covers that snap securely into place, staying put even when setting aside the fans for further work. This should prevent future accidents where flan blades get snapped off due to reckless use of a hex wrench while the fans are still spinning. Although I haven't extensively tested these modifications yet, I'll keep you posted on any overheating issues that may arise in the long run.
