Snap-in Ceiling Cover - open and closed version

IntroI had some unused ceiling connections for lamps in my flat and thought i don´t want the ugly standard covers on there. So i designed my own.To achive a very clean look i didn´t want to have any holes or screws visible. So i thought about a snap-on solution for the problem. My two-part design features a mounting plate and a cover. After mounting the mounting plate to the ceiling the electrical cable can be fixed via a cable tie onto the hooks. These hooks can also be used to hold some cable in place which you would run to a lamp. Therefore the cover has also a version with a cutout. To mount the cover simply push it onto the mounting plate in the correct orientation. The printing layers should then lock into each other.Leave some comments if you like it and have a good time printing! Features:The two parts hold together just by locking the individual printing layers into each otherMounting Plate:gets screwed to the ceiling or wallhas two hooks to place cable ties to hold the electrical wire including the luster terminal (black, in my pictures)Cover:Can be used either in the closed or open version with the cutout to route a cable to another spot on the ceiling.Notes:In order to hold together, the mounting plate needs to be scaled up slightly. In my case +0,1% in all directions works just fine. The added g-code allready contains the scaling. If you modify or scale the models to fit your needs please be aware of the mounting concept:the mounting plate fits to the cover only in one specific position Printing instructions:General:PLA0,6 mm Nozzle0,3 mm Layer Heightno supports or brim needed Tools/Materials used:Fusion 360a good old caliperFilament:DAS FILAMENT - 1,75 mm PLA - matt whitemounting screw(s)cable tie (optional)
