This is a compact snap-fit chess board. To assemble it, you'll need to print these quantities of each component: 2 quarter boards on the left side 2 quarter boards on the right side 8 connector pins 32 tiles in one color 32 tiles in another contrasting color The connector pins and tiles were printed with ABS plastic, while the other components were made with PLA. Printing the board sections can be challenging because they have large surfaces that touch the build plate and may peel up at the corners. The holes for the connector pins are designed to fit snugly, requiring a bit of filing to insert them properly. The tiles will snap into place without needing glue or any other adhesive.
