Snap Circles, Oloid Base Model

Snap Circles, Oloid Base Model This innovative design expands upon an earlier oloid base model. By connecting two circles, we create a distinctive oloid shape. What if we add more snapping cuts to a single circle? We now have a circle that grows in space—essentially a fractal. I experimented with the design and found three connectors, 120 degrees from each other, work exceptionally well. It's indeed possible to connect eight circles for a wheel-like structure that is quite intriguing (see the figures). Each circle measures 50 mm in diameter, with some built-in tolerance allowing each one to touch the center of another.
