Snap Blade Disposal Container
thingiverse
You three-dimensionally print, don't you? I bet you go through numerous snap blades for clean-up purposes during printing processes. Now, the responsible approach would obviously involve embedding the snapped-off blade segments within a spare piece of foam material. However, admit it; oftentimes you simply don't have those extras on hand and end up discarding your bits carelessly. This easy-to-use tool enables you to snap off blades without requiring prying forces at the back end clip. Merely snap them off in the slot, allowing the fragments to drop away effortlessly. In contrast to traditional piggy banks, this container is specifically designed to prevent contents from escaping back out into chaos, for nothing can indeed be revived once it has vanished into oblivion. Dispose of the entire container once it's reached maximum capacity. UPDATE: The Large version has been uploaded, intended for usage with larger 18mm blades! Unfortunately, I do not currently have any large blades in my possession, so please kindly let me know if this large version proves effective! Instructions: The components are designed with effortless printing in mind, ensuring a hassle-free experience without the need to tackle complex overhangs or bridges – especially when printed upside down. The default orientation for slot-side downward printing is already factored into the design. A complete print of about an hour should be achievable at a 0.3mm layer height; slightly more time may be required for the Large version. For optimal results, it's recommended to use PLA since these components are intended as disposable parts that ultimately will make their way to landfill sites within trash bags.
