Snake's Cage Clip

I quickly fabricated a secure cage clamp to hold down the lid of our tank that now houses our new corn snake, notorious escape artists that they are. The clip snaps onto the cage effortlessly and provides a rock-solid grip. I took precise measurements with my calipers, using them as the blueprint for my 3D model created in Blender. From there, I exported the STL file and uploaded it to MakerWare for a thorough test print simulation. I then used my trusty Makerbot Replicator 2 to bring this design to life, printing out these sturdy clamps in rich black PLA that are proving themselves to be highly durable!
