Snake Necklace

This is a unique art project created by two students as part of their avant-garde jewelry assignment. They designed a pair of copperheads, each consisting of a head, tail, and body segments that can be customized to any length desired. The core of the snakes is made from 14 Ga steel wire, which provides a sturdy foundation for the decorative elements. To add visual interest, they used spray paint, twisted copper wire, and hammered pennies to create intricate patterns and textures. For one of the necklaces, they incorporated twisted copper wire, chain, and glass rocks to create an ornate design that adds an extra layer of sophistication. The students utilized Tinkercad and Sculptris software to craft the models with precision and accuracy. The project was printed using a MakerBot Replicator Z18 3D printer, which provided high-quality results. To ensure successful printing, rafts were used to stabilize the print bed. However, the use of supports is not crucial in this case.
