snake lure

The prototype is still in the early stages, undergoing rigorous testing with 100% infill at a 0.2mm layer height, and so far, results have been somewhat underwhelming as it continues to falter like a top spinning erratically on the water, thus necessitating the addition of a swivel to maintain some semblance of stability. The current predicament may be rectified with an injection of flexibility into the equation - that is, by using flexible filament instead, coupled with the incorporation of a weighted jig head in the mix. A comparative test will undoubtedly yield insightful data regarding whether these modifications effectively redress the imbalance in this top's dynamics or not. Upon my first attempt at 3D printing, noticeable warping occurred (the telltale sign can be observed firsthand). However, undeterred, I intend to reschedule a subsequent testing session with an artificial lure within the confines of next year - a tantalizing prospect that I anxiously await!
