I'm reworking the Bowden Extruder design based on the MK8 model and calling it Snail Extruder. Does this make sense? I've employed both AutoCAD and SolidWorks to redesign this part. You'll need some extra components beyond what's included, specifically: two 8mm inner diameter by 22mm outer diameter ball bearings; four M8 nuts; one 90mm length of M8 threaded rod; a drive gear suitable for the MK7 model; and one 4mm inner diameter by 13mm outer diameter ball bearing.
